Dr. William Brownsberger to Discuss Silence in Final Public Lecture of the Academic Year

This Friday, Dr. William Brownsberger will speak on the value of silence in modern society. His lecture, entitled “Adrift on a Windy Ocean: Sounding the Depths of Noise in Contemporary Society,” will be the fourth (and final) public lecture of the year.

Dr. Brownsberger is Academic Dean and Professor of Theology at Conception Seminary College, and has written and lectured extensively on the “significance of silence” in modernity. His essay, “Silence,” was a key text in the College’s “Symposium on Silence and Sacred Space in the Modern World,” held earlier this year.

The lecture will take place at 7:00PM in the Fremont Room at The Inn at Lander (260 Grandview Drive), and will be followed by a brief Q&A session. We hope to see you there!
